Job Summary:


This role involves a Business Process Consultant who will conduct a comprehensive assessment of an organization's project management processes and Oracle Fusion Project Portfolio Management module configuration. The consultant will deliver a gap analysis, identify opportunities for improvement, and create an optimization roadmap and implementation plan. This will include process mapping, benchmarking, stakeholder engagement, and the creation of detailed reports and recommendations. The consultant will not perform any Oracle Fusion configurations or development work; this will be handled by the organization's existing Oracle support partner.

Location: Saskatchewan, Canada

Responsibilities:

- Conduct a thorough gap analysis of current project management processes and Oracle Fusion configuration.
- Create detailed process maps of existing workflows.
- Assess the current Oracle Fusion Project Portfolio Management module configuration.
- Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops to gather insights.
- Benchmark current processes and configuration against Oracle best practices and industry standards.
- Identify opportunities for process and system improvement, categorizing them by impact and effort.
- Develop an optimization roadmap with detailed implementation plans, including timelines and resource requirements.
- Design optimized future-state process flows aligned with Oracle Fusion best practices.
- Provide specific technical and functional recommendations for adjusting Oracle Fusion setup.
- Develop a training and change enablement plan.
- Create client-facing documentation, including reports, process maps, and recommendations.
- Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics to measure optimization results.


Required Skills & Certifications:

- Proven experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications, especially Project Portfolio Management (PPM), Financials (GL, AP, AR, Procurement), and Time and Labor.
- Strong understanding of business process mapping and optimization.
- Familiarity with Oracle Fusion best practices and configurations.
- Knowledge of integration touchpoints across Finance, Procurement, Timekeeping, and HR modules.
- Ability to conduct gap analysis, benchmarking, and deliver optimization roadmaps.
- Strong stakeholder communication and facilitation skills.
- Ability to produce client-facing documentation: process maps, recommendations, reports.
- Proficient in process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart, BPMN).


Preferred Skills & Certifications:

- Familiarity with change management frameworks (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR).
- Familiarity with Oracle Reporting Tools and Fusion Analytics.
- Comfortable with collaboration tools (MS Teams, SharePoint, Jira).


Special Considerations:

- The consultant will not perform any Oracle Fusion configurations or development work. All implementation changes will be handled by the organization's existing Oracle support partner.
- Access to system environments and data is subject to the organization's IT security policies.
