Job Title:  Certified Medical Assistant Location:  Waller, TX 77484 Shift Options: ~9:00 AM – 6:00 PM ~3:45 PM – 12:00 AM Vacancies: 2 Pay Rate: $20 per hour Job Description: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our clinical team in Waller, TX . The ideal candidate will be experienced in performing audiometric testing and general medical assistant duties in a fast-paced, multicultural environment. Key Responsibilities: Perform audiometric/hearing tests using the Shoebox audiometry program for a large client population. Accurately record test results and enter data into the facility's electronic medical records (EMR) system. Support clinic operations during testing downtimes, including assisting with exams, treatments, patient education, and general clinical tasks. Conduct nursing assessments and collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation practices. Provide compassionate care to a diverse, multilingual patient population. Requirements: ~ Active certification as a Medical Assistant through AAMA, AMT, NHA, or NAHP . ~ Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. ~2–4 years of experience in a clinical or medical office setting. ~ Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel. ~ Ability to use a 10-key keypad by touch. ~ Familiarity with Epic EMR is a plus. ~ CAOHC certification (Council for Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation) is a plus but not required. ~ Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. ~ Comfortable working with a high patient volume and multilingual populations. Schedule & Work Environment: Full-time roles available with variable shifts. Team-oriented environment supporting both specialized testing and general clinic needs. This role requires flexibility and strong attention to detail.
