Manages and leads a team of technical support staff who design, develop, test, implement, and monitor software and tools. Works with business leaders to define scope and requirements, and plans and executes the development of various systems. By seamlessly integrating technology, personalized insights, and trusted guidance, we empower investors to join Vanguard and achieve their financial goals with confidence and clarity.As the Manager with expertise in Adobe product suite you will lead multiple teams supporting Vanguard's digital marketing web experiences. Leveraging your extensive knowledge of the Adobe Experience Cloud, specifically AEM, Launch, WebSDK and Target, you will drive business outcomes that lead to higher engagement and conversions of our prospects and clients. In partnership with Product Managers and Senior Delivery Managers across the Public Site family, develop and build the engineering subject matter expertise required to support Vanguard's web ecosystem.In this role you will:Collaborate with Product Owners, architects, UX strategists and web teams to deliver next generation, data driven client experiences.Maintain working knowledge of the Adobe Experience Cloud, including AEM, Launch, WebSDK, and Target to meet and exceed the needs of Vanguard marketing and customer experience teams.Identify and resolve technical issues and develop and implement continuous improvements in support of marketing and customer experience teams.Hire, evaluate, and manage a team of high performing engineers with a passion for developing innovative solutions. Define skill requirements for each team member and measure team member skills to define development and upskilling plans.Set performance standards, reviews performance, and makes informed compensation decisions in accordance with all applicable Human Resources policies and procedures.Understand and comply with IT policies and procedures, Enterprise Data Governance, Privacy, Legal, and Information Security policies and procedures, and verifies deliverables meet requirements.Lead, coordinate and participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.What it takes: (must have)7+ years of professional IT experienceExperience in delivering software releases relating AEM in headful and headless deployments. Works with business clients to determine scope and develops environmental requirements for AEM projects.Works closely with management to develop and implement staffing and operational plans. Participates in the development of short- and long-term department goals. Monitors and reports on service delivery metrics and overall performance.3+ years working experience with AEM in headful and headless deployments2+ years working knowledge of Adobe Launch, Target3+ years hands on experience with web development & architecture, including HTML, CSS, JavaScriptMarketing acumen and understanding of how to integrate and leverage MarTech platforms to automate and orchestrate highly personalized web client experiencesThe ability to translate marketing use cases and business requirements into technical specifications, and scalable and practical solutions that deliver business outcomesStrong process knowledge and orientation to deliver business outcomes5+ years utilizing Agile development practices, including scrum, Kanban and leanExperience using modern software development and engineering practices, including DevOps, test automation and test-driven development, Site Reliability EngineeringStrong written and verbal communication skills.
