Job Description

About Us

We are a licensed cannabis and hemp company with a growing portfolio of innovative consumer products. As we prepare to launch a new product line, we’re looking for a hands-on Project Manager who thrives in fast-paced environments and knows how to turn plans into action.

Position Summary

This role is based in Phoenix, AZ and will begin as a part-time position with flexible hours based on workload and project phase. Occasional or infrequent travel may be required, depending on business needs.

As the brand scales in revenue and profitability, the scope and compensation for this role are expected to grow accordingly. This is not a passive project tracker role—we’re looking for a proactive executor who uses project management tools as a base but brings projects to life by driving real progress. The ideal candidate will be comfortable influencing and guiding senior-level stakeholders to maintain momentum and accountability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead cross-functional project planning and execution for new product development
  • Build and maintain detailed project plans using tools such as Asana, Smartsheet, or Monday.com
  • Align internal teams and external partners around key milestones, deliverables, and timelines
  • Proactively identify risks and bottlenecks, and implement action plans to stay on schedule
  • Facilitate weekly project check-ins and milestone reviews to ensure stakeholder alignment
  • Coordinate packaging, compliance, supply chain, and marketing deliverables to support launch
  • Track progress against goals and continuously adapt workflows to fit a dynamic startup environment

Required Experience & Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in project management with a focus on CPG, product development, or brand launches
  • Proven ability to manage projects from concept to shelf with hands-on execution
  • Proficiency in project management platforms and workflows
  • Strong communication skills and a track record of keeping teams focused and accountable
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-directed
  • Create and manage detailed project timelines with expert-level proficiency in tools such as Asana, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, or Monday.com

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the beverage, convenience store (C-store), hemp, or cannabis industries
  • Familiarity with regulated product development cycles, including packaging and compliance

What Success Looks Like

Within the first 90 days, you’ll have taken full ownership of the product launch timeline, identified critical path items, and built strong working relationships across departments. By launch, you’ll have ensured that the product is not only ready but delivered on time and in alignment with brand and business goals.

As revenue grows, you’ll be positioned for increased responsibility, compensation, and impact. This role has the potential to expand significantly as the initiative scale

The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members.
