Job Description

Looking for an enthusiastic, responsible and experienced land surveyor. We need someone with a lot of energy, ready to learn and very hard working.

We are an earthworks company, with more than 50 years of international experience.

Working on big projects such as highways all over the US.

Our current project is located in San Antonio, Texas.

Some of the tasks that would be developed are:

• Conduct physical site surveys using a variety of equipment and tools.
• Prepare sketches and notes, and perform electronic data collection.
• Coordinate field staff and process field data.
• Interface with civil engineers.
• Verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites.
• Calculate areas of land parcels and easements using mathematics and computer software.
• Research previous survey evidence, including maps, deeds, physical evidence, and other records to obtain data needed for surveys.
• Prepare site surveying documents and present findings to clients.

Some of the requirements the candidate needs to meet are:

• Degree in Surveying.
• Good numeracy skills and the ability to make mathematical calculations.
• Logical thinking skills.
• Problem solving and analytical skills.
• A keen eye for detail.
• Organizational skills.
