Position Overview
Stand-By Personnel, Oklahoma's largest and most trusted staffing provider for over 30 years, is seeking a Construction Business Development Manager to expand our footprint in the construction staffing sector. This individual will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, managing long-term client relationships, and delivering tailored workforce solutions to construction firms across the Tulsa area. The ideal candidate brings a blend of construction knowledge, sales expertise, and a passion for helping businesses build stronger teams.
What You’ll Do
Client Relationship Management: Cultivate, manage, and expand relationships with general contractors, subcontractors, and construction firms.
Territory Development: Develop and maintain a robust sales funnel in your assigned territory to consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
Project Coordination: Serve as a key point of contact from initial prospecting through workforce onboarding, ensuring a smooth and professional client experience.
Problem Solving: Address client needs with creative, timely, and strategic solutions.
Market Insight: Stay informed on local construction trends, project forecasts, and competitor activity to strategically grow market share.
CRM Utilization: Leverage CRM tools to document activities, manage your pipeline, and drive performance.
Qualifications
3–5 years of experience in construction sales, staffing, or construction management.
Strong understanding of the construction project lifecycle, labor needs, and jobsite requirements.
Ability to manage multiple accounts and complex projects with minimal oversight.
Proven ability to negotiate contracts and deliver custom solutions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.
Must reside within 30 miles of Oklahoma City or be willing to relocate within 30 days of hire.
Valid driver’s license required; minimal overnight travel may be needed.
